I chose to go into this profession out a sincere desire to assist individuals/ families who want to secure their financial future and protect their dreams. This is why:

After working in the agricultural industry most of my life I decided that it was time to make a career change. Constantly dealing in commodities in agriculture, I found that I had an interest in the marketplace and finance. Finance seemed like a natural fit.

I took the steps required to become an active financial advisor, obtaining all the necessary licenses I required. Enthusiastic and fresh I stepped into my new role!

As I gained experience and became more aware of the industry, I only became more determined. So many people were provided with products at high costs, people were not being provided with the products and service they really NEEDED.

To achieve mutual success I believe:

  1. You must have a trust based relationship 100 percent of the time.
  2. You must understand your client’s current and future goals and dreams.
  3. You must educate your clients as much possible on the products and services you are providing.

I succeed only if my client succeeds. So my philosophy is “If it’s not broken then don’t fix it!” If you have been provided great planning then I will advise you to keep to that plan even if that means a continued relationship with your current advisor.

I find clients to have a general lack of understanding on how products work. I have made it my mission to change this. Clients need and want someone who will not only advise them but educate and guide them through the planning process. You should never have an overwhelming feeling that the information you are being given is fragmented, complicated or lacks any form of commitment to service a continuing relationship. If you do feel overwhelmed or confused chances are you should do more research, get a second opinion, ask for a better explanation, or stay away from the product altogether.

Together you and I will create a working financial needs analysis, giving you clear directions towards your financial objectives. I will attend to the meticulous details often overlooked, clarify objectives, and give you a true understanding of the options available to you.

As a business owner for twenty three years in the transportation industry, knowing finances was imperative to my success. I thought I had it all figured out until an associate came by and analyzed my personal finances. What an eye opening experience! I had no idea there was so much to know about the world of finance.

My family’s financial future was not as secure as I had thought it was and I made an immediate decision to change that. In my opinion being informed was the first step so I attended courses to obtain both my Mutual Fund license and my Life Insurance license.
